Concentrated PAA Food Grade Anti-Microbial

Perasan® MP-2C is an FDA-approved food-grade anti-microbial for meat, poultry, seafood, fruits, vegetables, and further food processing applications. Its 22% peracetic acid (PAA) antimicrobial formulation decreases the incidence of pathogenic organisms in or on food. Its low hydrogen peroxide concentration prevents bleaching and blackening wingtips in meat, poultry, and production operations

Same Efficacy As 15% PAA Products, Lower Cost

Perasan® MP-2C formulation is 32% more concentrated than its standard version, Perasan® MP-2. As a result, it lessens overall chemical cost and freight, reducing its carbon footprint while offering the same efficacy as conventional 15% PAA products.

Uses

  • For use as an antimicrobial water or brine treatment in the preparation and cooling of cooked and ready-to-eat meat and poultry products
  • It can be applied in process water or directly on further processed fruits and vegetables
