BromMax ® is a bromine biocide product line developed as a biocontrol to prevent harmful waterborne microorganisms in cooling towers or cooling water treatment systems.

If left untreated, cooling towers and commercial and institutional HVAC systems can corrode, develop scale, foul, or become choked with microbiological growth.

BromMax ® liquid bromine biocide formulations are the best way to implement an ongoing biocontrol program to prevent and eliminate damaging microorganisms from cooling towers or cooling water treatment systems.

Our BromMax ® product line eliminates the need to mix two products, such as a bromine precursor and an activator. It’s superior to bleach and removes the need to make continuous chemical adjustments to cooling water systems.

BromMax ® 10.2 is the world’s most concentrated liquid bromine biocide used for control of bacterial, algal and fungal slime in industrial and commercial recirculating cooling water systems. It can also be used to control bacterial, algal, and fungal slime in decorative fountains, air washers, papermill process waters and influent systems, and food, beverage, and industrial pasteurizers. BromMax ® 10.2 is compatible with all commonly-used materials of construction in cooling systems and works exceptionally well in colder climates where higher concentrations of biocides are needed.

BromMax ® 7.1 is the most used liquid bromine biocide product, created with the same innovative process used in BromMax ® 10.2 but in a lower concentration.

BromMax ® 7.1 is an effective agent for controlling algae, bacteria, and slime in condensing and cooling equipment or in lined reservoirs or ponds serving as a source of boiler feedwater or cooling water. It can also be used to control bacterial slime and algae in decorative fountains, air washers, pasteurizers, papermill influent water systems, and oilfield water recovery systems.
