Safe Acid NHF is a safe alternative for the hydrofluoric (HF) and ammonium bifluoride (ABF) based products. This specialized formulation is ideal for the removal and prevention of silca-based scale. Safe Acid NHF is less corrosive to metals than typical ABF or HF blends. The Safe Acid NHF was developed for oil and gas recovery systems but has proven to be a very effective tool applications. Safe Acid NHF is equivalent to a 27% ammonium bifluoride solution and will yield similar results.
