Perafoam™ foam additive is a high-foaming concentrate/additive for use in federally inspected meat, poultry, and seafood plants. This long-lasting foam and surfactant formula enables more prolonged contact with equipment and vertical surfaces.
Perafoam™ foam additive is an FDA-approved, high-foaming concentrate specially designed to use in conjunction with Enviro Tech’s peracetic acid (PAA) sanitizer/disinfectant formulations, such as Perasan® A.
Characteristics
- Dispensed easily in liquid form even at low temperatures ~ 35°F (2°C)
- Hard water tolerant and stable in presence of oxidizers
- Its long-lasting foam and surfactant package facilitate more prolonged contact with equipment and vertical surfaces than conventional methods

Uses
Since Perafoam™ is an FDA-approved ingredient with GRAS status, it can be used in federally inspected meat, poultry, and seafood plants. No rinse is required when used at the recommended dosage rates.
When Perafoam™ is used in conjunction with Enviro Tech’s peracetic acid-based sanitizers, it it is known to enhance sanitation.
