ENVIROCHLORITE 25
EnviroChlorite® 25 chlorine dioxide and acidified chlorite solution is a highly oxidizing precursor containing 25% sodium chlorite and is Kosher‑certified, OMRI‑listed, and approved for use in organic production under the National Organic Program (NOP). It is used in dairy, food, and beverage processing facilities for CIP pipeline cleaning, washing fruits and vegetables, treating recirculating cooling water, and controlling slime and biofouling in agricultural irrigation systems.
This reactive formulation provides strong bactericidal and fungicidal activity across a wide range of microorganisms in both cold and warm water.

- General Industrial Process Waters: Helps control microbial slime in oilfield injection water, white water paper mill systems, and recirculating cooling towers. Depending on the degree of contamination, the dosage ranges from 0.25 to 5.0 ppm.
- Food Plants: Effectively controls non-public health microorganisms in food processing water systems such as flume water, chill water systems, hydrocoolers, and more. Dosages vary based on process conditions and contamination levels, typically ranging from 0.25 to 3.0 ppm.
- Treatment of Irrigation Water Systems: Helps control bacteria, algae, and slime in irrigation piping and emitters for field and greenhouse/hothouse applications. Dosage ranges from 0.25 to 2 ppm for continuous dosing and 5 to 25 ppm for slug dosing.
- Enhanced Oil and Gas Exploration and Recovery Systems: Use for microbial control in oil field water systems, including primary, secondary, or tertiary recovery, oil sands processing waters, and more. Dosages and application methods may vary based on specific requirements.
- Oil and Gas Production Systems: Helps control bacteria, including sulfate-reducing and slime-forming bacteria, in oil and gas production systems. It is suitable for water treatment in hydraulic fracturing, oil-field injection waters, and oil sands processing waters.
Always ensure proper injection or introduction of EnviroChlorite 25 below the surface of the treated water/ suspension/fluid/slurry, preferably while flowing or mixing.
